• BabyMonster Continues Global Success, Charts on Billboard for 2 Consecutive Weeks

    BabyMonster is making waves on the global music scene, marking their second consecutive week on the U.S. Billboard charts, signaling a bright future for their ongoing popularity.

    According to the latest Billboard charts released on November 19 (local time), BabyMonster’s title track "DRIP" from their first full album ranked 21st on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and 38th on the Billboard Global 200. After securing their highest-ever rankings of 16th and 30th last week, the group has now successfully charted for two weeks in a row.

    The group is also achieving impressive results across other platforms. "DRIP" has maintained a strong position on Spotify's Global Daily chart for 16 consecutive days and has climbed up to 17th on Melon’s HOT100 in South Korea, along with rising rankings on other major domestic music platforms. Their music video is also about to hit 100 million views on YouTube.

    BabyMonster's growing popularity is largely attributed to their powerful live performances, which have earned them recognition across music shows, variety programs, radio, and YouTube. Their upcoming activities, including the follow-up song "Love In My Heart" and their first-ever world tour, are expected to keep their global momentum going.

    Starting next year, BabyMonster will kick off their debut world tour, "2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS.'" The tour will begin in Seoul at the KSPO DOME on January 25 and 26, often referred to as the "holy land" of K-pop. From there, they will move on to New Jersey in February and Los Angeles in March, marking the next big step in their global expansion.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
