• BabyMonster Set to Rock 'Inkigayo' with Powerful Live Performances

    YG Entertainment’s rookie girl group, BabyMonster, is ready to prove their impressive live performance skills once again as they prepare for their first stage on SBS’s Inkigayo.

    The group will appear on Inkigayo on November 10, marking the official start of their comeback activities. This follows the release of stunning YG-produced performance videos, which have already earned the group significant attention.

    BabyMonster has already impressed with every music show stage they've performed, and expectations are high for this one. This time, they’ll be performing with handheld microphones, showcasing their flawless live vocal abilities that they proved with their hit SHEESH.

    For their live performance, BabyMonster will introduce two double title tracks. They’ll debut DRIP, an EDM-based dance track with dynamic beats and a signature YG hip-hop vibe, and CLIK CLAK, an original hip-hop song where all members will rap for the first time.

    After dropping their music video and performance clips, fans are eagerly awaiting BabyMonster’s live stage. Both songs feature top choreographers, with key dance moves already generating excitement and likely to go viral.

    BabyMonster made their official comeback on November 1 with their debut full album [DRIP]. The album ranked 2nd on the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart, topped iTunes charts in 13 regions, and claimed the No. 1 spot on Japan's Line Music real-time album chart.

    On YouTube, DRIP topped the 'Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours' chart, and the pre-release track CLIK CLAK ranked in the Global YouTube Daily Top 10 for four days. U.S. Billboard praised BabyMonster’s debut album, calling it “filled with charming tracks” and naming them one of the most exciting new K-pop groups for 2024.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
