BOYNEXTDOOR is making waves in Japan! On October 10th, the Japan Record Association announced that the group has received 'Gold' certification for their mini album 19.99. This is a huge achievement as it means they’ve shipped over 100,000 copies since the album's release in September 2024.
This certification shows how well BOYNEXTDOOR is doing in the Japanese music scene. 19.99, which came out on September 9, quickly climbed to the top of the Japan Oricon 'Weekly Album Ranking' and the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' by September 23. They even managed to win two consecutive weeks on the Oricon charts, following the success of their previous album, HOW?
Their journey in Japan has been impressive. BOYNEXTDOOR debuted with their single AND in July, which surpassed 250,000 shipments in its first month. With 19.99, they have further solidified their place as a promising K-pop group.
Fans have something to look forward to! BOYNEXTDOOR will kick off their first solo tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1,' on December 14-15 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. They plan to visit a total of 13 cities, including six in Japan, highlighting their popularity in the region.
BOYNEXTDOOR is recognized for their relatable music and impressive performances. As they embark on their tour, they are expected to win over even more fans and continue their rise in the K-pop world. It’s exciting to see how far they’ve come, and we can't wait to see what they achieve next!
