• BOYNEXTDOOR Enters on US Billboard Top 200

BOYNEXTDOOR has reached a "career high" on the US album charts!

On September 23 (local time), Billboard announced that BOYNEXTDOOR's mini-album 19.99 debuted at No. 40 on the Billboard 200 chart for the week of September 28. This achievement is the highest rank for both 5th generation girl and boy groups on the chart.

With this release, BOYNEXTDOOR has made history by entering the Billboard 200 with three consecutive albums. The No. 40 spot for 19.99 is a huge jump of 122 positions from their last mini-album WHY.. (which reached No. 162) and 53 spots from HOW? (which hit No. 93). Considering HOW? came out in April, this growth is impressive!

They also landed at No. 4 on the 'Top Album Sales' chart, behind big names like Travis Scott, Eminem, and Miranda Lambert.

With 19.99, BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved "career highs" not only in Korea but also in major markets like the US and Japan. The album sold 759,156 copies in its first week, marking a nearly 43% increase from their last release.

In Japan, they topped both the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and the Weekly Combined Album Ranking as of September 23, securing their second week at No. 1. Since their debut just over a year ago, BOYNEXTDOOR has won over global fans with their relatable "lifestyle music" and unique performances, becoming one of the "hottest groups" in K-Pop.

After finishing promotions for 19.99, BOYNEXTDOOR will start their first solo tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’, on December 14-15 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. They will continue their tour across 13 Asian cities, including Tokyo on January 30, Aichi on February 2, Osaka on February 8-9, and more.

  • TWICE’s Jihyo buys a 4 billion won building in her 20s, proving she's one of the youngest wealthy stars

TWICE’s Jihyo has made headlines after purchasing a building worth a staggering 4 billion won in her 20s.

On May 2, Herald Economy reported that Jihyo bought a building in Seongdong-gu, Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seoul, in early March of last year.

By the end of that month, she had completed the full payment and transferred ownership, with no mortgage attached, suggesting that the property was purchased entirely with cash.

Just a month after the purchase, Jihyo registered as a housing rental business operator and completed the registration for private rental housing.

As a housing rental business operator, she is eligible for tax benefits, such as reduced acquisition tax. However, she is also subject to certain regulations, including a 5% cap on rent increases, compliance with rental periods, and mandatory insurance for tenant deposits.

The building, which was built in 1986, has a land area of 152㎡ (45.98 pyeong) and a total floor area of 330.21㎡ (99.89 pyeong). It includes one basement level and three floors above ground.

The property is situated in Seongsu Strategic Redevelopment Zone 2, an area currently undergoing redevelopment.

Given the area's future potential, it is believed that Jihyo's investment is more focused on the property's long-term value rather than immediate rental income.
