• SHINee's Onew: "SM is Still My Home, SHINee Activities Will Continue"

Onew, from SHINee and now a solo artist, has shared that SM Entertainment remains his "home" and that SHINee’s activities will go on.

Onew will be featured on KBS 2TV's The Seasons - Zico's Artist on August 16 at 10 PM. In a recent recording, he performed SHINee’s hit "Stand By Me" from Boys Over Flowers, bringing warmth and charm to the show.

Now with a new agency and a solo career, Onew explained, “I wanted to try something new rather than stay in a comfortable place. I’m focused on enjoying what I can do now and achieving my goals.” Despite his new path, he assured fans that SHINee’s activities will still be closely tied to SM.

In his solo debut on a late-night music show, Onew discussed past struggles with his voice and how it used to be a source of anxiety. Despite some difficulties with impersonations, he impressed viewers by skillfully mimicking Park Jin Young, adding humor to the segment.

After a health-related hiatus, Onew is back and excited to share his new album, releasing on September 3. The album features the new track "Hola!" and the catchy "Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun." Fans can look forward to seeing these performances on the show.

The episode also features Hwang Je Sung, who curates a list of "Diet Songs That Burn Calories When Exercising." Hwang Je Sung entertained the audience by cycling on stage and shared a funny interview where a dieter imagined Zico from Block B chasing them. Zico later performed a comedic routine, adding to the fun.

Jeon Somi, the new summer queen, will also appear. She’s a big fan of The Seasons and collaborated with Zico on a "ROCK version of Pororo," bringing a unique twist to the classic character. Jeon Somi, who just released "Ice Cream" on August 2, expressed gratitude for Park Seo Joon’s cameo in her music video and hinted at a future collaboration with Zico.

Lastly, singer-songwriter George performed a sensitive reinterpretation of Lee Jeok’s "Rian," receiving applause for his touching performance. George, who has dealt with psoriasis, shared his health journey and discussed wellness with Zico.

The episode ended with a humorous segment featuring George’s remake album Gimbap and a life-sized standee, along with a surprise duet with Bong Tae Kyu, the original artist of one of his tracks.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
