• Kim Jaejoong carifies '100 Billion Won Wealth' rumors, “If I combined 20 years of assets, I should have 1 trillion”

Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong addressed rumors about his wealth being 100 billion won.

Recently, a video featuring Kim Jaejoong was posted on 'Today’s Joo Woo Jae.'

During the video, Joo Woo Jae asked, "What do you do alone at home these days?" Kim Jaejoong replied, "Not much. I just drink and cook for myself. My day usually ends after cooking at home," showing his simple lifestyle.

When Joo Woo Jae was surprised that Kim Jaejoong cooks all his meals, he remarked, "You must eat everything you cook." Kim Jaejoong humorously responded, "Living frugally is the way to live well."

Joo Woo Jae, who prefers ordering delivery, mentioned that he doesn't cook and his induction stove is piled with stuff. Kim Jaejoong humorously replied, "Give me your gas stove. I don't have one because I think it's a waste to use gas at home."

Amazed by Kim Jaejoong's frugality, Joo Woo Jae said, "You have a lot of money. People like you need to spend money to keep the economy going." Kim Jaejoong retorted, "I pay taxes," making everyone laugh.

Joo Woo Jae then exaggerated, "I’m not envious. I've been working for a long time too. I just want to keep doing this consistently. I don't want to have as much money as you, like a hundred billion won."

Kim Jaejoong replied, "Let me clear this up once on this channel. The rumors about my enormous wealth circulating online are ridiculous. They count all the cars I've driven over 20 years as part of my assets," expressing his frustration.

He added, "Of course, I’ve changed cars over time. Sometimes I have real estate, sometimes I don't. I sell one property and buy another. If you add all of that up as my assets, honestly, I should have one trillion won. It’s not possible to earn that much, and the structure doesn't work that way," passionately clarifying the rumors.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
