• Red Velvet's Seulgi Takes us on a Tour to Her Favorite Places "Showing You My Favorite Food Spots"

Red Velvet's Seulgi took fans on an impromptu tour of Seongsu-dong.

On June 14th, Seulgi's escapades were spotlighted on the YouTube channel 'Hi Seulgi' with the title 'Seulgi from KWANGYA showing you around Seongsu-dong.' This area is notably home to SM Entertainment's headquarters.

Seulgi shared, "I tend to visit places I've marked on my map," and noted, "Today, I'll explore some interesting spots I've had my eye on."

Her first stop was a versatile editing shop. Inside a lifestyle and kitchen brand store, she was drawn to a floral-patterned plate, exclaiming, "I really like this!"

After deciding on the plate and picking up a cleansing soap, she ventured into an unconventional photo booth.

Posing in a room themed with industrial steel, Seulgi struck model-like poses for the camera. Next, she visited a fashion boutique where she suggested outfits for a staff member planning a trip to Los Angeles (LA).

After wrapping up her clothing shopping, Seulgi indulged in a quick treat of mango and basil ice cream.

Moving on, she visited another lifestyle brand shop she frequents, browsing through dishes, cups, and keyrings.

Then came the highlight—dinner. Seulgi and her crew headed to a galbi (Korean BBQ ribs) restaurant in Seongsu-dong's renowned galbi alley, a hidden gem in her books. Seulgi shared, "I've been craving galbi, so I had to come here," and ordered galbi paired with beer and mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles).

Seulgi demonstrated her galbi-eating prowess, advising, "You've got to eat galbi with mul-naengmyeon," and wowed viewers with her mukbang skills, wrapping a hefty piece of meat in lettuce and devouring it in one bite.

Before concluding her tour, she visited the SM Entertainment headquarters, showcasing various key spots within the building.

Reflecting on her day, Seulgi remarked, "I had a blast enjoying delicious food and sharing my favorite spots," and suggested, "If you're ever in Seongsu-dong wondering what to do, follow today's itinerary!"

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
