• NewJeans' Youngest Member Hyein Reflects on Wardrobe Changes as She Grows Older: "I'm Not Wearing Bright Clothes Anymore"

Hyein, the youngest member of NewJeans, has sparked curiosity with her recent comment about aging.

On the NewJeans YouTube channel, behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions for their new songs 'Bubble Gum' and 'How Sweet' was unveiled.

During the video, Hyein, who was the first to record among the members, showcased her skilled vocals.

She caught attention when she remarked, "Today, I'm singing 'Bubble Gum,' and I tried to find some colorful clothes in my closet, but maybe because I'm getting older, I don't have any vibrant clothes left," which intrigued viewers.

She smiled and added, "Even this one is pink, but it's a very deep shade," expressing her contentment with the recording session. Following Hyein, Minji, Hani, Haerin, Daniel, and others took their turns in the recording booth.

However, Hyein is currently unable to participate in these activities. Earlier, NewJeans' agency, Adore, revealed, "During rehearsals in April, Hyein experienced pain in her instep and underwent thorough medical examinations, which identified a minor fracture."

They further explained, "Since then, she has been focusing on treatment and recovery. However, medical advice recommends minimizing activities that could strain her instep."

The agency continued, stating, "As a result, Hyein has chosen to prioritize stability and rest, and will not be participating in official activities, including music broadcasts and performances for the double single 'How Sweet.'"

  • Tomorrow X Together (TXT) shock fans by hitting No. 1 in Japan with 'Love Language' while on tour—only K-pop act in top 5

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is once again showing their global power!

On May 4, BigHit Music announced that TXT’s latest digital single “Love Language” had climbed to No. 1 on Line Music Japan’s ‘Top 100 Songs’ daily chart, just a day after its release.

The song debuted at No. 12 on May 2 and jumped 11 spots to grab the top spot on May 3. Over on Oricon’s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’, the song also ranked high at No. 2, making TXT the only international artist to rank in the top 5 on both major Japanese charts.

But TXT’s success isn’t just limited to Japan. “Love Language” also topped iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in nine countries and regions, including Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Portugal. The track also charted high on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart, standing proudly alongside songs by global pop giants.

Love Language is a sweet and emotional track that compares love to learning a new language. TXT members express the desire to understand someone they care about, even when it’s not easy to communicate.

The song is especially meaningful because the group dropped it as a surprise gift for fans during their ongoing world tour, ‘ACT : PROMISE’ – EP. 2.

Fans are going wild over the song’s catchy vibes, sharp group choreography, and one unforgettable moment where the members briefly lift their shirts, showing their abs—a performance detail that’s gone viral across fan communities.

TXT is clearly not slowing down, and Love Language is another major step in their rise as a global K-pop powerhouse.
