• Hyolyn Shows Her Hoobae Girl Groups Why She Is Still The Summer Queen On Stage In "Queendom 2" Performance

Hyolyn, a former member of the group Sistar, received high praise from fellow singers and netizens for her perfect performance that overwhelmed the stage.

Mnet's "Queendom 2," which first aired on March 31, unveiled the stage of the first competition "representative song competition".

Hyolyn, who took the stage for the second time after VIVIZ, sang SISTAR's representative song "Touch My Body". Since it was not the stage of the entire SISTAR group, she had to play all the parts alone, but she captivated the audience with his unique energy and singing ability.

The juniors who were watching the stage were amazed, saying, "Wow, they made a real summer," "Crazy, what should I do?" and "They're summer queens".

Netizens who watched the performance also praised the video by posting comments such as "It's Hyolyn as expected," "I got goosebumps all throughout the broadcast," "Singing ability, performance was crazy", "This is what it is to be really good at", and "Return of the Summer Queen".

Hyolyn made her debut as a four-member girl group Sistar in 2010.

She has performed various musical activities such as group, unit, solo, OST, collaboration, and featuring. In particular, she appeared in MBC entertainment shows "2014 I Am a Singer" and "I Am a Singer 3" and was recorded as the first active idol to perform "I Am a Singer".

At the production presentation for "Queendom 2" on the morning of March 30, Hyolyn said, "I feel a lot of pressure, but the most important thing is an opportunity to grow musically and professionally through these programs and situations.

I was able to suppress the burden because I wanted to continue growing".

Meanwhile, Mnet's "Queendom 2" is a survival program in which six top K-POP idol teams release singles at once a day and enter the comeback competition. Brave Girls, VIVIZ, WJSN, LOONA, Kep1er, and Hyolyn will participate in the survival. It airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
