Actor Choi Woo Shik's agency has issued an official statement denying allegations about his behavior toward a flight attendant, announcing plans to take legal action against what it describes as false information spreading online.

On November 6, Fable Company, the agency representing Choi Woo Shik, responded to claims circulating on the social media platform Threads.

The controversy began after an online user claiming to be a flight attendant shared a post alleging that the actor had behaved rudely while aboard an aircraft.

As the post gained attention and spread across social media, Choi Woo Shik's agency publicly denied the claims.

Fable Company stated, "We would like to address the false information about actor Choi Woo Shik that has recently been spreading, mainly through Threads."

The agency emphasized that publishing or spreading unverified and misleading information could seriously affect the actor's reputation.

"Indiscriminately posting information that is not true, or maliciously distorting and exaggerating claims to create and spread rumors, is an illegal act that seriously violates the actor's reputation and rights," the agency said.

Fable Company also revealed that it has been monitoring the posts and collecting relevant evidence.

The agency explained, "We are continuously monitoring the posts and how they are being shared, and we are collecting related materials. We plan to take legal action against those who create, distribute, reproduce, or spread false information."

The company added that the same policy would apply to malicious rumors, defamatory comments, and false claims involving other actors under its management.

It concluded by asking social media users to avoid spreading unverified information.

"We ask that everyone refrain from indiscriminately spreading false information. We will continue working to protect the rights and interests of our actors," Fable Company stated.

The agency's response follows the circulation of the online allegations, which have not been independently verified.

As of the November 6 statement, Fable Company has announced plans for legal action but has not disclosed whether a formal complaint has already been filed.
