Park Bo Gum made a surprise appearance during Lee Seung Chul’s 40th anniversary special and immediately drew loud cheers from the audience.
On the September 24 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s *Your Life Is a Never Ending Story: Lee Seung Chul*, Park Bo Gum appeared as a special guest, entering while playing the piano and singing *I Love You So Much*.
The crowd reacted enthusiastically as Park Bo Gum later joined Lee Seung Chul for a duet.
Lee Seung Chul jokingly acknowledged how much attention his guest was receiving, saying, *“This is the best gift for everyone who came today. I knew this would happen.”*
He then added with humor, *“It feels like the guest has become the main star. No matter how well you sing, it doesn’t matter. First, you have to be tall.”*
Park Bo Gum greeted the audience by saying he had come to celebrate Lee Seung Chul’s 40th anniversary and admitted that the stage made him nervous.
The two also looked back on their previous collaborations. Lee Seung Chul recalled first asking Park Bo Gum to appear in a music video before later performing a duet with him on *Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile*.
According to Lee Seung Chul, a video of that duet has surpassed 14 million views.
Park Bo Gum responded, *“It was an honor for me. After singing with him once, so many people enjoyed it.”*
He added that he was grateful to see viewers smiling while watching their performance.
Park Bo Gum also performed *Let’s Go See the Stars* during the special, receiving another warm response from the audience.
Before leaving, he thanked Lee Seung Chul for inviting him to be part of the 40th anniversary celebration and asked viewers to continue supporting the veteran singer’s future activities.
