2AM’s Lee Chang Min opened up about why marriage still feels far away for him, leading to a playful conversation with his fellow members about his dating life.

The full 2AM lineup appeared on the September 4 episode of MBN and Channel S variety show Jeon Hyun Moo Plan 4, joining Jeon Hyun Moo for a food trip around Pohang and Yeongdeok.

During the trip, Jeon Hyun Moo brought up marriage and noted that members of 2PM, a group often associated with 2AM since their early days, have already started getting married. He then asked whether the 2AM members ever wonder why all four of them are still single.

Jo Kwon immediately turned the question back on him, asking, “What about you?”

Jeon Hyun Moo joked that he had already passed the stage of feeling pressured about marriage. Lee Chang Min then admitted that, for him, the bigger challenge is imagining how to start a relationship again.

“I don’t even know how I’m supposed to start all over again. It feels overwhelming,” Lee Chang Min said.

Jung Jinwoon quickly offered some simple advice, telling him, “But you have to start first.”

The conversation became even more playful when Jeon Hyun Moo suddenly asked Lee Chang Min whether he had ever dated before, prompting the 2AM members to laugh and joke that the host was being casually rude.

Lim Seulong then stepped in to reassure Lee Chang Min, saying he has personally noticed that there are women who are particularly attracted to him.

“There’s definitely a type of person who likes Chang Min hyung,” Seulong said. He recalled acquaintances attending 2AM concerts and showing a clear preference for Lee Chang Min.

However, Lee Chang Min pointed out the funny problem with those stories.

“I hear things like, ‘My older sister really likes you’ or ‘My younger sister is a huge fan of you,’ but I’ve never actually met that person. That’s the problem,” he joked.

The lighthearted exchange highlighted Lee Chang Min’s current thoughts on relationships rather than suggesting that he is against marriage. For now, the 2AM member simply admitted that starting a new relationship feels more difficult than it once did.

Jo Kwon has also previously spoken about his own marriage concerns, joking on another variety show that although he has reached an age where marriage naturally comes up, finding the right person has not been easy.
