Chungha spoke openly about recent comments on her changing appearance, explaining that she believes the difference is mainly because she has lost much of the baby fat from her face.
The singer appeared as a guest on the September 2 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s Gabi’s Super Radio, where she talked casually about entering her 30s and how her appearance has changed over time.
During the conversation, Gabi told Chungha that her face now gives off a calmer and more mature impression.
Chungha responded, “Maybe it’s because I lost a lot of my baby fat. Even my friends asked if I had my face contoured. I can also tell that I’ve lost a lot.”
Gabi agreed that Chungha’s facial lines appeared different.
Chungha also joked about seeing online posts surprised that she is already in her 30s, admitting that part of her would rather people still think she is in her 20s.
However, she said she does not take the comments too seriously and appreciates the positive attention surrounding this new stage of her life.
“I don’t really worry about it. I think people are looking at my 30s in a very positive way, so I’m really thankful,” she said.
Chungha recently participated in I.O.I’s reunion activities and returned with her new digital single México on September 1.
