S.E.S. member Bada humorously expressed her strong desire to perform at Waterbomb after revealing that she has never been invited to the popular summer festival.

During the August 5 broadcast of MBC’s Radio Star, Bada appeared as a guest alongside Choi Won Young, Lee Tae Ran, and CORTIS member Martin.

Bada explained that her stage name, which means “sea” in Korean, often helps her receive invitations to summer events. However, she said Waterbomb remains the only major summer festival where she has not performed.

She jokingly protested, “How does that make sense? My name is Bada, but Waterbomb has never invited me.”

The singer added that leaving her out was like only experiencing the surface of what the festival could offer. She playfully argued that she should be present at an event where water is such an important part of the concept.

Bada continued, “A Waterbomb without Bada is not a true Waterbomb,” and directly addressed the festival’s organizers while looking toward the camera.

She said, “Anyone can see that I should be there. It is me.”

Kim Gu Ra then pointed out that invitations for this year’s festival may have already been sent. However, Bada remained positive and suggested that next year could be the right time for her appearance.

She also joked that she would be ready to perform if another artist suddenly became unavailable.

Bada explained, “My passion will never cool down, so I think next year is the perfect time. I am a true professional, so pride is not important. I will go and find my place.”

Her playful comments brought laughter to the studio as she confidently made her case for a future Waterbomb appearance.
