“My Royal Nemesis” is teasing another tense and exciting moment between Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun.
On June 5, SBS released new stills ahead of episode 9 of its Friday Saturday drama “My Royal Nemesis.” The photos show Shin Seo Ri, played by Lim Ji Yeon, filming “Kingdom of Women 2.”
However, attention quickly shifted to Cha Se Gye, played by Heo Nam Jun, who suddenly appears at the filming set. In the stills, Cha Se Gye is seen having a tense standoff with the male lead of “Kingdom of Women 2,” played by Ahn Chang Hwan.
Cha Se Gye’s intense stare makes it look like he has already lost his usual calm. The character, who is known as a cold chaebol who clearly separates work and personal matters, seems unable to hide his jealousy when it comes to Shin Seo Ri.
Another still shows Shin Seo Ri and Cha Se Gye meeting quietly in a corner of the set. Cha Se Gye suddenly holds Shin Seo Ri’s hand, while Shin Seo Ri looks surprised, creating a different mood from their usual relationship.
The new photos are raising curiosity about what will happen at the “Kingdom of Women 2” filming set and how Cha Se Gye’s jealousy will affect his relationship with Shin Seo Ri.
Episode 9 of “My Royal Nemesis” airs on June 5.
