The mother of child actress Lee Seo Jung has shared her honest feelings after her daughter’s scenes in SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis” were completely edited out.

“My Royal Nemesis” has been gaining strong attention after passing 10 percent in ratings, but a behind the scenes story involving Lee Seo Jung has left many viewers feeling sorry.

Recently, Lee Seo Jung’s mother shared photos from the filming set on social media. In the pictures, Lee Seo Jung was seen smiling brightly in a hanbok style outfit after filming her role as the young Mo Tae Hee.

However, the scenes will not be shown in the final broadcast.

Lee Seo Jung’s mother explained, “My Royal Nemesis was a project we prepared for and filmed with excitement after Seo Jung was first confirmed through an audition for the role of young Tae Hee.”

She added, “Sadly, Seo Jung’s scenes were finally edited out because the production length went over the limit, so they cannot be seen in the broadcast.”

Although she admitted there was disappointment, she also tried to see the experience in a positive way. She wrote, “It is not that we are not upset, but through this experience, we learned one more thing.”

She also shared how hard her daughter worked, saying, “After she was confirmed, she practiced the 9 lines for a long time.” She added that the memory of acting in front of the camera and meeting good staff and actors is something “no one can edit out.”

Lee Seo Jung’s mother also revealed that her daughter is already filming another project and said they are trying to move past the disappointment, believing that even regret is part of growth.

Netizens showed support for the young actress, saying they hope to see her in her next project.

Meanwhile, “My Royal Nemesis”, starring Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Joon, has passed 10 percent in ratings. The drama has 14 episodes in total, and episode 9 will air on June 5 at 9:50 PM.
