Kim Jae Joong opened up about his experience with sperm freezing on KBS 2TV’s “Fun Staurant.”
On the May 15 broadcast, Kim Jae Joong invited his close friends Choi Jin Hyuk, Yoon Si Yoon, and Yoo Seon Ho to his family home, where his parents live. The three actors are currently busy preparing for the musical “The Days,” but they spent time eating, cooking, and talking with Kim Jae Joong.
During the episode, Kim Jae Joong prepared a special spicy seafood chicken soup for his friends. The dish mixed rich chicken broth with the spicy taste of jjamppong, even surprising chef Lee Yeon Bok.
When Choi Jin Hyuk, Yoon Si Yoon, and Yoo Seon Ho arrived, Kim Jae Joong’s parents warmly welcomed them. His parents praised the group’s visuals, saying, “They are all handsome.” Kim Jae Joong’s mother also made everyone laugh when she saw Yoon Si Yoon and immediately called him “Tak Gu,” referring to his famous drama role.
The four men later cooked together and talked openly about dating and marriage. Choi Jin Hyuk joked about still living with his mother, saying, “My mother is like a bunker, so I cannot date.” He added that he wants to get married but jokingly blamed his mother, saying, “I could not get married because of my mother.”
Kim Jae Joong then shared his own story about sperm freezing, saying he did it “to prepare for having children.” He honestly admitted that the hospital process was “a little embarrassing.”
He also shared the emotional side of the experience, saying, “After 3 to 5 years, it gets discarded. It hurts when it gets discarded.” He added that he does not plan to continue doing it.
The episode also showed Kim Jae Joong’s mother preparing seasoned raw crab for his friends, while Yoo Seon Ho charmed her with his bright and cute personality.
Kim Jae Joong was born in January 1986 and is currently 40 years old.
