VIXX’s Hyuk officially completes military service today and thanks fans as he prepares to return to group activities

Hyuk of VIXX has officially completed his military service and is returning to fans, marking the start of a new chapter in his career.

Hyuk, whose real name is Han Sang Hyuk, began his alternative service as a public service worker in 2024.

After completing his duties for about 1 year and 9 months, he was officially discharged on January 17, reuniting with fans around the world.

Through his agency, Companion Company, Hyuk shared a heartfelt message, saying, “I spent each day doing my best while thinking about my promise to return healthy in both body and mind.”

He added, “I was able to reflect on myself and grow through new experiences,” and thanked fans for “always supporting me even while we were apart.”

Following his discharge, Hyuk is set to greet fans through a live broadcast on January 20, which will be his first official communication since completing his service.

Anticipation is already building among global fans.

He will also reunite with his members on stage at VIXX’s fan concert “Case No. VIXX,” scheduled for February 21 and 22. The event will mark VIXX’s first full group performance in seven years, drawing major attention as a signal of the group’s return to active promotions.

With his military service now complete, fans are eagerly looking ahead to Hyuk’s upcoming activities and VIXX’s long awaited full group comeback.
