Girls’ Generation's Taeyeon renews contract with SM and confirms 19-year journey

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will continue her long-standing partnership with SM Entertainment, marking 19 years together.

Taeyeon debuted in 2007 as a member of the legendary K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation. She launched her solo career in 2015 and quickly became known as a unique and beloved vocalist. By renewing her contract with SM, she has reaffirmed the strong trust between her and the agency.

Over the years, Taeyeon has released numerous hit songs, including I, Why, Sa Gye (Four Seasons), Bulti (Spark), INVU, and To X, achieving strong performance in both digital and physical music charts. Recently, she celebrated her 10th solo debut anniversary with her first compilation album Panorama : The Best of TAEYEON, a meaningful way to mark her musical journey.
