Ji Hyun Woo is clearing up the rumors about Im Soo Hyang’s hepatitis after a headline made it look like he was responsible.
During his guest appearance on the November 12 episode of MBC’s Radio Star, Ji Hyun Woo brought up the viral article that claimed “Ji Hyun Woo stopped drinking so only Im Soo Hyang drank, and that’s why she got hepatitis”.
He explained that the story was misunderstood, saying, “I controlled my drinking because I had filming the next day, and Soo Hyang had finished her filming.”
He added, “She was the one who said, ‘Let’s have one more drink’”. He then added that what happened afterward was not because of him.
When host Kim Gu Ra asked, “So you’re saying it has nothing to do with you, right?” Ji Hyun Woo firmly replied, “Yes.”
He also shared that he isn’t a heavy drinker to begin with. “I usually drink one glass of beer. My body detoxes slowly. The most I ever drank was two bottles of soju. When I get drunk, I usually just sleep”, he said.
With his calm explanation, Ji Hyun Woo made it clear that he was not the cause and that the situation was simply misunderstood.
