BTS member V is proving his massive influence in the global fashion industry, helping luxury brand Celine reach new heights.

After Paris Fashion Week, attention turned to EMV (Earned Media Value), which measures the value a celebrity ambassador brings to a brand. V recorded $13.1 million (₩18.9 billion), the highest among Korean stars attending Paris Fashion Week, highlighting his powerful impact as a global ambassador for Celine.

According to influencer media value platform Lefty, BTS members collectively generated $39.26 million (₩56 billion) in EMV during the 2026 Spring/Summer fashion weeks, with V’s share at ₩18.9 billion (34%), the highest among the members.

V also led all Korean stars in EMV across the 2025 fashion week season, including New York, London, Rome, and Paris, showcasing his standout status in the global fashion scene.

During Paris Fashion Week, Celine entered the Top 10 Brand EMV ranking at 8th place. Last year, when V was serving in the military, the brand did not appear on the ranking, demonstrating his singular influence.

XFashion reported 37 million posts worldwide on X (formerly Twitter) during Paris Fashion Week. Despite Celine’s official account having only 137,000 followers, compared to Dior’s 9.31 million and Louis Vuitton’s 9.77 million, Celine ranked 2nd among the most mentioned brands, with 70% of mentions related to V.

Vogue Business also revealed that Celine generated around $26 million in EMV across the four major fashion weeks, with V contributing 50% of the total.

Since officially becoming a Celine ambassador in 2023, V recorded $274 million (₩390 billion) in EMV in Lefty’s annual “Most Influential Celebrities in Fashion” report, ranking 1st among male celebrities worldwide. Beyond his K-pop fame, V has established himself as a global fashion icon, playing a key role in the growth and economic value of luxury brands.
