Fans are buzzing with excitement as more star-studded cameos have been confirmed for Netflix’s upcoming drama “Genie, Make a Wish.”
On October 2, a Netflix representative confirmed, “Daniel Henney will appear in ‘Genie, Make a Wish.’ Please check the main series to see the exact role.”
The fantasy romantic comedy follows a lamp genie named Genie (Kim Woo Bin) who wakes up after a thousand years and meets Ga Young (Suzy), a human who has no emotions. Together, they face a story that unfolds around three wishes.
The drama is written by hit writer Kim Eun Sook, known for “The Glory” and “Mr. Sunshine.” With Kim Woo Bin and Suzy reuniting on screen after 9 years, expectations were already high.
Now, with Daniel Henney confirmed to join, along with earlier news of Song Hye Kyo and Kim Ji Hoon making special appearances, anticipation for the series has reached a whole new level.
“Genie, Make a Wish” is set to premiere on Netflix on October 3.
