BTS’s Jungkook is showing no signs of slowing down as his mega-hit Seven continues its unstoppable run on the Billboard charts.
According to Billboard’s latest update (August 16), Jungkook’s debut solo single Seven ranked 120th on the Global 200 and 71st on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Both positions marked a rise from the previous week — up 7 spots on the Global 200 and 2 spots on the Global Excl. U.S. chart — proving the song’s lasting global appeal.
With this achievement, Jungkook has extended his record as the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist to appear on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for 107 and 108 consecutive weeks.

Previously, Jungkook topped both charts with Seven, 3D, and Standing Next to You.
Billboard also revealed that Jungkook has spent a total of 242 weeks on the Global 200 and 291 weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Seven originally debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s main Hot 100 chart — staying there for 15 weeks — solidifying its place as a global music phenomenon.

On Spotify, Seven holds even more records. It became the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, with 109 consecutive weeks. It’s also the fastest and first song by an Asian artist to surpass 2.493 billion streams, now nearing the 2.5 billion milestone.
The track’s impact goes beyond charts — Seven was crowned Billboard’s 2023 Global Song of the Summer and took the No. 1 spot on the 2024 International Power Players list as the most popular song in over 200 countries and regions outside the U.S.
Jungkook’s Billboard streak proves one thing: the global golden maknae isn’t just making history — he’s rewriting it.
