On August 5, W Korea revealed that V will grace the cover of their September issue, marking his first magazine cover since being discharged from the military. The magazine dropped a teaser video on their official social media, sparking an instant frenzy online.
In the post, W Korea wrote:
“A charming uneven gaze, a beauty mark above the lips, and a drowsy voice. A visual that overwhelms the scene just by showing up. Who is this mysterious person? The cover star will be revealed tomorrow.”
Even before the full reveal, fans instantly recognized V — and the video quickly racked up 15 million views in just 17 hours.
The teaser was shot during V’s trip to Paris for the Celine fashion show in July. Despite his busy schedule, V managed to squeeze in a full-on photoshoot, wearing pieces from Celine’s Spring 2026 Collection — the debut line by the brand’s new designer Michael Rider.
The close-up video highlighted V’s next-level visuals, showing how even the same eye can give off different vibes depending on the angle. Fans praised his ability to express deep emotion and attitude with just his eyes, proving once again that he’s a master of pictorials.
