Kim Jae Joong might be ready to settle down — and his latest comments are making fans super curious.
On the July 25 episode of KBS 2TV’s New Release Pyeonstorang, the 39-year-old singer and actor was seen preparing nabak kimchi (a type of watery kimchi), which he said he planned to give to a “female friend.”
This instantly caught his parents’ attention. That “female friend” turned out to be none other than T-ara’s Hyo Min, who lives nearby.
During their meeting, Kim Jae Joong’s mom asked Hyomin,
“Are you close with my son? Are you two close friends?”
But when Kim Jae Joong replied,
“She got married recently,”
his mom looked disappointed and even held her head in surprise.
Still hoping for romance, she asked Hyomin to introduce a good friend to her son. Hyomin said,
“Actually, I’ve been thinking about that for a while. But he’s so popular, I think he’ll do fine on his own.”
To that, Kim Jae Joong’s mom hilariously replied,
“He can’t manage it on his own,” making everyone laugh.
Later in the show, famous chef Lee Yeon Bok brought up the topic of sudden marriages and joked,
“He might suddenly get married like Lee Sang Min. Do you have a girlfriend right now?”
Kim Jae Joong didn’t give a straight answer but left fans buzzing with his response:
“At my age, it wouldn’t be strange if a dating rumor came out.”
While he didn’t confirm anything, his words definitely sparked curiosity among viewers — could a surprise marriage really be on the way for Kim Jae Joong?
