BTS's Jungkook is proving his massive global power once again with his first solo album GOLDEN, and fans can't stop celebrating his record-breaking run!
On July 22, it was revealed that GOLDEN, which was released back in November 2023, has now spent an incredible 600 days on Apple Music’s Worldwide Album Chart. This makes it the first and longest-charting K-pop solo album on the platform — a milestone no other soloist in K-pop has achieved before.
But that’s not all.

Jungkook’s GOLDEN also stayed on Apple Music’s U.S. Pop Album Chart for 600 days and continues to hold strong on the European Album Chart for more than 480 days.
Over on iTunes, the global success keeps shining. GOLDEN reached No. 1 in 106 countries on the iTunes Album Chart and has charted on iTunes’ Worldwide Album Chart for over 414 days.
On Spotify, Jungkook is also making history. GOLDEN has charted on the Weekly Top Albums Global Chart for 89 weeks straight, making it the longest-running album ever by an Asian solo artist. It also became the first album by an Asian solo act to hit 5.8 billion streams on the platform.
Even though it’s been 1 year and 8 months since the album dropped, Jungkook’s GOLDEN is still going strong, showing its lasting popularity and the dedication of fans around the world.
When it first came out, GOLDEN debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, making Jungkook the first Asian solo artist to chart there for 25 weeks. In the UK, the album stayed on the Official Top 100 Albums Chart for 8 weeks, again becoming the first K-pop soloist to achieve that.
GOLDEN was also the only album by an Asian male artist featured on Apple Music’s “Met Gala-Worthy Looks” album list.
With over 2.9 million copies sold, GOLDEN is officially the best-selling K-pop solo album in South Korea — a record that proves Jungkook’s incredible star power as both a group member and a solo artist.
ARMYs around the world continue to show endless love for GOLDEN, and it doesn’t look like Jungkook’s legendary streak is ending anytime soon.
