TWS is on fire in Japan!
The rising K-pop group — made up of Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, and Kyung Min — is quickly gaining attention with their debut promotions, showing off their growing power across music, TV, anime, and fashion.
Starting July 18, TWS kicked off the SHIBUYA109 × TWS SUMMER CAMPAIGN at the famous Shibuya109 shopping centers in Tokyo and Osaka. Fans were greeted with giant group photos covering the buildings, plus special audio and video messages playing throughout the stores. Pop-up shops also opened to celebrate their first Japan tour, ‘2025 TWS TOUR '24/7: WITH: US’ IN JAPAN — and the crowds are loving it.

The promotions don’t stop there. Karaoke chain JOYSOUND launched special TWS-themed karaoke rooms at seven major locations across Japan, including Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka. Across 69 stores, fans can also enjoy limited-edition drinks inspired by each member of the group.
In Harajuku (Tokyo) and Umeda (Osaka), fans are lining up for TWS CAFE ‘Nice to meet you (はじめまして / Hajimemashite)’, where they can enjoy a debut-inspired menu and soak in the full TWS experience.
TWS’s first Japan tour is already a hit, with sold-out shows in Hiroshima, Aichi, and Fukuoka. The members are winning over fans by learning local dialects, talking about local foods, and showing their sincere effort to connect with every audience.

They’re also hitting the small screen! TWS will appear on TBS’s popular late-night variety show Night Brunch on July 23, and have been busy with interviews and regional broadcasts to keep promoting their name.
The group even stepped into the anime world. On July 16, they voiced characters in the Disney+ Star Original Series ‘BULLET/BULLET’, and they also performed the theme song for the new anime “A Bouquet for the Ugly,” which started airing on July 4.
All this hard work is showing major results. Their Japanese debut single ‘Nice to see you again’ (はじめまして / Hajimemashite) sold over 211,000 copies in just two weeks, topping Oricon and Billboard Japan with four No.1 chart wins in the first week alone.

Billboard Japan even noted how well their sales are balanced across the country — not just focused on big cities like Tokyo and Osaka. “It’s rare for overseas artists,” the outlet said, “but TWS is showing strong performance in a wide range of regions,” highlighting their fast-growing nationwide fanbase.
And it’s not over yet — TWS will perform at Japan’s biggest music festival, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, on September 15 at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City.
From music charts to anime and fashion collaborations, TWS is proving they’re not just a trend — they’re the next big thing in K-pop, and Japan can’t get enough!
