BTS’s Jungkook is once again proving his global power—this time with more record-breaking numbers on Spotify and Billboard.
For the week of July 4–10, Jungkook’s solo debut track Seven ranked 86th on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart. Released in July 2023, the song has now stayed on the chart for 104 straight weeks—setting a new record as the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist.
That’s not all. His first solo album GOLDEN, which dropped in November 2023, came in at 72nd on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Albums Global” chart for the same week. It has now charted for 88 consecutive weeks, once again making history as the first and longest-running album by an Asian soloist.

Both Seven and GOLDEN are climbing again—Seven moved up 7 spots, and GOLDEN rose 6 spots, proving Jungkook’s songs are still loved all around the world.
Even during a break from active promotions, Jungkook returned to Spotify’s “Weekly Top Artists Global” chart for the same week. This marks his 110th appearance, showing his lasting impact and massive fanbase.
As of July 17 (KST), Seven has already passed 2.443 billion streams, ranking 80th among Spotify’s most-streamed songs ever. Meanwhile, GOLDEN became the first album by an Asian solo artist to hit over 5.8 billion total streams.

With all his credits combined, Jungkook has now hit 9.18 billion total streams on Spotify, making him the fastest Asian act and first K-pop soloist to achieve this. His monthly listeners are also soaring past 17.5 million.
Over on Billboard, Seven is also breaking new ground. It’s now the longest-charting song by an Asian soloist on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, with 103 and 104 weeks, respectively.
When Seven first came out, it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and stayed on for 15 weeks. It also hit No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart, holding on for 14 weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo song in UK history.
His album GOLDEN also made a strong impact—debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and staying there for 25 weeks, the longest run ever for an Asian solo artist. On the UK’s Top 100 Albums chart, it held on for 8 weeks, making Jungkook the first K-pop soloist to do so.
Meanwhile, on July 15, Jungkook reopened his personal Instagram account under the name @mnijungkook, and within days, he already gained over 7.5 million followers.
Jungkook isn’t just breaking records—he’s making history.
