SHINee’s Minho is ready to sweat it out — and he's doing it with style, strength, and a whole lot of alarms!
The idol-actor will be showing his hardcore triathlon training in the upcoming episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone,” set to air on July 11 at 11:10 PM KST. This episode marks his 5th year of living solo, and fans will get an up-close look at how dedicated and disciplined he really is when it comes to pushing his limits.
On stage, he’s known for his "flaming charisma," and off stage, Minho has built a reputation as the ultimate “sports king” among K-pop idols, taking on everything from soccer to marathons. Now, he’s adding triathlons to the list.

Minho surprises everyone with his chaotic but hilarious morning routine. He admits, “I have a hard time waking up,” and reveals that he sets between 20 and 40 alarms just to get out of bed. Even the cast of Home Alone couldn’t hide their shock!
His home — lovingly called the “Minho House” — also gets revealed. Decorated in calming gray and wooden tones, the place reflects his mature and relaxed vibe. He says, “This is my first home. I chose it because of one specific thing,” teasing viewers about the reason behind his decision.
But just 10 minutes after waking up, Minho is already out the door — heading straight to the gym. With sharp focus, he shares, “My motto is ‘Let’s take on challenges.’” He explains that he’s been preparing for a triathlon for the past three months. After only two months of training, he had already entered his first race and ranked in the upper tier, proving that he's not just in it for fun.
Now, he’s got his eyes on another event happening this November, and he's determined to beat his own record.
In preview photos, Minho stuns fans with his sharp abs, intense gaze, and relentless energy. Training under a “devil coach” who pushes him to the limit, Minho is seen swimming against strong waves, cycling uphill on the infamous “IU Hill” (named after IU’s iconic high notes), and more. Every part of his workout looks like a scene from an action movie!
Minho’s episode is expected to inspire viewers with his drive, visuals, and love for challenges. Whether you’re here for the fitness or the fun, one thing’s for sure — Minho never does anything halfway.
Tune in to “Home Alone” on July 11 to watch Minho’s intense triathlon journey and maybe even get inspired to set (a few less) alarms for yourself!
