BTS’s Jungkook is rewriting streaming history — again!
On the latest Spotify Weekly Global charts (for the week of June 27 to July 3), Jungkook’s mega-hit debut solo single “Seven” ranked at #93, showing its incredible staying power nearly two years after release.
“Seven,” which originally dropped in July 2023, has now charted for a jaw-dropping 103 weeks straight, making it the first and longest-charting song ever by an Asian solo artist on Spotify’s global song chart.

But that’s not all — his debut solo album “GOLDEN,” released in November 2023, also ranked at #78 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart during the same week. That marks 87 consecutive weeks on the chart, setting a new record for the longest-charting album by an Asian soloist.
These are not just weekly wins — they’re historic achievements.

As of now, “Seven” has surpassed 2.427 billion streams, making it the 80th most-streamed song of all time on Spotify. It’s officially the highest-ranking track ever by an Asian group or solo act on the platform.
Meanwhile, “GOLDEN” has smashed past 5.8 billion total streams, becoming the first album by an Asian solo artist to ever reach that milestone. From charting dominance to massive streaming numbers, Jungkook is proving he’s not just a global pop star — he’s a record-breaking streaming powerhouse.
With no signs of slowing down, Jungkook’s solo career is solidifying its place in music history — one chart at a time.
