BTS’s Jin just made a surprise appearance in a Netflix promo video for Squid Game Season 3, and fans can’t stop talking about it!

On July 4, Netflix Korea dropped a fun teaser video titled “Hide Well | Squid Game Season 3” on its official YouTube channel. Right at the beginning of the clip, Jin pops up, instantly catching viewers’ attention with his playful and cheerful energy — similar to the side he showed in his Netflix variety series Kian’s Bizarre B&B.

In the video, Jin is seen jokingly hiding as the lyrics of Squid Game 3's “Hide Well” song play in the background. His appearance added a lighthearted twist to the intense theme, and fans loved it.

The teaser also included scenes from Squid Game 3, You Got Fooled, and Sweet Home Season 1, edited in a fun, hide-and-seek-style montage.

Squid Game Season 3 is currently #1 globally on the Netflix Global TV Shows chart as of July 4, holding the top spot for 7 days straight. Since its release on June 27, it quickly hit #1 in 93 countries, proving its huge international popularity.

Meanwhile, Jin’s own Netflix debut, Kian’s Bizarre B&B, which premiered on April 8, also topped charts. It made history as the first non-survival reality show from Netflix Korea to make it onto the global rankings.

Jin’s popularity doesn’t stop there — he also ranked #1 in the TV and OTT Non-Drama Cast Popularity Index, with fans praising him as a “visual god” and applauding his reliable and sincere personality throughout the show.

On the music side, Jin is breaking even more records. His solo mini 2nd album “Echo,” released on May 16, is being loved by fans around the world. The title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” hit #1 on the Spotify Global Chart on May 25, becoming the first and only song by an Asian artist in 2025 to reach that milestone.

He also launched his first solo fan concert tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, starting in Korea. The tour includes 18 shows in 9 cities such as Chiba and Osaka (Japan), Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark (USA), London (UK), and Amsterdam (Netherlands). Jin will also make history as the first K-pop solo artist to hold a concert at London’s O2 Arena.

The Japan leg of the tour will include a Live Viewing event for the July 12 Kyocera Dome concert, which will be screened in 43 CGV theaters across Korea and 10 regions around the world.

Jin’s global impact is undeniable. Just one day after the second night of his Korean concert (on June 30), he was mentioned over 3.4 million times in a single week on social media — making him the most talked-about person in the world. Even major global figures like Donald Trump (2nd place, 3.2M mentions) and Elon Musk (3rd place, 2M mentions) followed behind.

From Netflix cameos to breaking records in music, TV, and global influence, Jin is truly proving his unmatched power as a top-tier global superstar.
