BTS’s Jimin is back on top—literally. Just weeks after finishing his military service, Jimin has proven his unstoppable power by sweeping 1st place in both the boy group and overall idol brand reputation rankings for June 2025, earning him the title of “King of K-pop” once again.

On June 28, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute released its latest brand reputation results. Out of 755 male idols analyzed from May 21 to June 21, Jimin ranked No.1, marking an incredible 50th time he's topped the boy group individual rankings.

According to the link analysis, keywords most associated with Jimin this month included “discharged,” “donated,” and “thankful,” showing how his recent actions and return touched fans. Keyword analysis highlighted “Filter,” “ARMY,” and “Park Ji Min,” while his positive feedback score hit 94.04%, showing his strong public image.

But that’s not all.

Jimin also claimed 1st place in the overall idol brand rankings for June, based on data from May 25 to June 25, making it the 26th time he’s led the entire idol category. In this ranking, related terms like “discharged,” “returned,” and “donated” once again stood out. The most-searched keywords were “military discharge,” “5th Division Artillery Brigade,” and “ARMY.” His positive feedback rating climbed even higher to 94.55%.

On top of that, the Asia Brand Research Institute, a trusted big data evaluation agency, placed Jimin 2nd in the K-Brand Index for boy group individuals—just behind BIGBANG’s G Dragon. The K-Brand Index is known for its expert-verified rankings and avoids random or unfiltered data.

With these achievements, Jimin has once again proven why he’s a top star in the K-pop world. After completing his 18-month military service, he didn’t waste a second in showing the world that his popularity and brand power are still unmatched.

Fans everywhere are calling it:

“The king is back—and stronger than ever.”
