BTS’s Jin is making history once again with his emotional solo track “Don’t Say You Love Me.”
On June 26, Spotify Japan revealed that Jin’s song stayed at No. 1 on the Top Songs chart (dated June 25) for a record-breaking 30 consecutive days. The track, which is the title song from his second solo mini-album “Echo” (released May 16), also ranked No. 6 on the Spotify Global chart on the same day.
This 30-day streak makes Jin the longest-running No. 1 K-pop male soloist on Spotify Japan ever. Among K-pop solo songs without any featured artists, it’s also the longest. Across all K-pop soloists, it’s the second-longest run, just behind Rosé and Bruno Mars’s “APT.”

Even more impressive—Jin is the only K-pop solo artist in Spotify Japan history to have more than one No. 1 song. Earlier this year, his song “Running Wild” also topped the chart, making this a rare and major double win.
Back in May, “Don’t Say You Love Me” became the first and only Asian song in 2025 to hit No. 1 on Spotify Global (May 25), showing Jin’s true worldwide reach.
The song also ranked No. 2 for two weeks straight on the Spotify Weekly Top Songs Global chart, proving that fans all around the world are still loving it nearly two months later.
In Korea, “Don’t Say You Love Me” also reached No. 1 multiple times. It joins an elite list with Jungkook’s “Seven,” Jimin’s “Who,” and BTS’s “Dynamite” as one of only four Asian songs to reach No. 1 on Spotify’s Global, Korea, and Japan charts.

Among all Asian solo artists, Jin now holds one of only three songs to achieve this triple crown.
As of June 26, Jin’s solo album “Echo” surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify. Combined with his first solo album “HAPPY,” which also crossed the 300 million mark, Jin has now made K-pop history with two solo albums hitting this milestone.
Not only is he breaking streaming records, but Jin also had a strong hand in creating his music—he wrote lyrics for 4 of the 7 songs on Echo, showing off both his songwriting skills and wide vocal range.

Up next, Jin is set to kick off his first-ever solo fan concert tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, starting June 28 in Goyang, Korea, with 18 shows across 9 cities including Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam.
He’ll also be making history as the first K-pop solo artist to hold a concert at London’s iconic O2 Arena.
For fans who couldn’t get tickets to the Goyang shows, there’s still a chance to join the excitement through the ‘LIVE PLAY’ viewing event at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, where the concert will be streamed in real time on a big screen.
On July 12, Jin’s Osaka Kyocera Dome fan concert will be broadcast in 43 CGV theaters in Korea, and also live-streamed in 10 countries through Live Viewing—so fans all over the world can cheer him on together.
With record-breaking charts, sold-out concerts, and emotional music, Jin is proving that his solo era is just as legendary as his BTS journey.
