BTS’s Jin is proving he’s not just a member of the biggest K-pop group — he’s a global solo star in his own right!
His latest title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” from his second solo mini album ‘Echo’ is sweeping international charts and holding strong weeks after release.
In the United States, the song has ranked #1 for 4 consecutive weeks on the #ChannelRMostWanted chart from popular American radio station Channel R Radio, showing Jin’s solid popularity among global listeners.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, the track is also making waves — topping House Radio MX for 3 straight weeks. It beat out big names like Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather”.
Released on May 16 (KST), Jin’s ‘Echo’ album features 7 tracks, with Jin personally participating in writing lyrics for 4 of them, including the emotional title track “Don’t Say You Love Me.”
The song achieved massive success on Spotify as well. On May 25, it hit #1 on the Spotify Global chart, becoming the first and only Asian artist song in 2025 to do so. Jin joined global stars Bad Bunny and Playboi Carti as the only three artists this year to reach the top of the global chart.

It also held the #2 spot for two weeks straight on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global, proving its long-lasting popularity.
On Spotify Korea, the song hit #1 on June 8 and 9, and it also topped Spotify Japan for a record-breaking 22 days, making Jin the longest-charting male K-pop solo artist to ever hold the #1 spot there.
That’s not all — Jin is now one of just four Asian artists to reach #1 on Spotify Global, Korea, and Japan with one song. The others are fellow BTS members Jungkook (‘Seven’), Jimin (‘Who’), and BTS’s ‘Dynamite’.
Jin is also the only K-pop soloist in Spotify Japan history to have two or more songs hit #1. His earlier solo track “Running Wild” and now “Don’t Say You Love Me” both topped the chart.
Fans are praising Jin’s powerful vocals, emotional delivery, and meaningful lyrics — and calling him the true “Live King” and “Visual King.” With chart-topping hits and record-breaking achievements, Jin is showing the world that his solo era is just as legendary.
