BTS has once again made history by adding another song to their growing list of tracks with over 500 million streams on Spotify, the world’s biggest music streaming platform.
Their title track ‘ON’ from the 4th full album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, released in February 2020, surpassed 500 million total streams as of the June 6 Spotify chart. This marks the 16th BTS group song to hit this incredible number.
‘ON’ shows BTS’s powerful energy and deep sincerity. The song shares their feelings of responsibility and strong mindset after spending seven years as artists.
When it first came out, ‘ON’ ranked #4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and reached #21 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100. The album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 also topped the Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart, proving BTS’s worldwide popularity.
So far, BTS has released 127 songs that each have more than 100 million streams on Spotify. Some of their biggest hits include:
- ‘Dynamite’ with over 2 billion streams,
- ‘My Universe’,
- ‘Butter’,
- and ‘Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)’ with more than 1 billion streams each.
Among all these, 16 songs have passed the huge milestone of 500 million streams on Spotify.
