As BTS member Jungkook gets ready to officially complete his military service on June 11, his fans in China and South Korea are going all out to show their love — with massive ad campaigns and special events lighting up cities and screens.

A Chinese fan account called @IMGOLDENCARD on X (formerly Twitter) proudly shared, “Jungkook’s Chinese fans are showing support locally to celebrate his discharge.” And they're not holding back.

On June 11, large screen ads will be displayed in 35 cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and more. T

hese ads will pop up on hundreds of electronic screens in malls and busy streets, reminding everyone that Jungkook’s popularity in China is still unbeatable.

Meanwhile, fans in South Korea are also preparing a heartwarming welcome. From June 1 to 30, a special message celebrating his discharge is being shown on the electronic billboard at the HYBE building taxi stop in Yongsan, Seoul.

The message reads, “We look forward to your solo activities. Like we promised on the first day, I’ll hold you tight,” expressing deep loyalty and love from his Korean fans.

Two of Jungkook’s biggest fan bases — Jungkook China and Jungkook Supporters (Korean fanbase) — have also launched huge support events.

Jungkook China will run a fully wrapped “Jungkook Bus” from June 11 to 15, driving around HYBE’s main building from 10 AM to 6 PM daily.

They’re also rolling out giant screen ads from June 9 to 15 at top locations like the 100-meter-long S-LIVE screen in COEX Mall and the outdoor C-LIVE screens at COEX and Parnas Mall.

On top of that, food trucks offering snacks and drinks will be stationed outside HYBE on June 11, 13, and 14 to celebrate his return.

On the other hand, Jungkook Supporters have been running a 3-month-long project from April 1 to June 30. They’ve wrapped all corporate taxis in Yeoncheon, the area where Jungkook served, with special Jungkook-themed designs.

From June 5 to 8, they’ll also hand out free drinks and ice cream to soldiers in uniform at Coffee Bay and Baskin Robbins branches in Yeoncheon. To add to the celebration, 150 streetlight banners will be installed around Yeoncheon and Jeongok from June 5 to 11.

From June 5 to July 4, ads celebrating both his military discharge and 12th debut anniversary will also be running on high-level buses in Seoul — especially in the Yongsan area.

Fans around the world are showing once again that Jungkook’s influence is stronger than ever, even after nearly two years away from the spotlight.

These massive events prove that when it comes to fan love and loyalty, Jungkook truly rules the game.
