• BTS' Jin makes the 'Forbes Korea 2025 Power Celebrity' list—he's the only BTS member and here’s why fans are cheering

BTS member Jin has once again proven he’s a true global superstar!

On May 4, Forbes Korea revealed its highly anticipated 2025 Power Celebrity 40 list, spotlighting the most influential stars across Korea’s entertainment scene.

This year, Jin proudly ranked 26th, and what’s even more impressive—he’s the only BTS member who made the list!

Forbes explained that they took a deeper look this time around. They checked not just estimated earnings but also broadcast activity (like TV ratings and awards), media attention, social media buzz, and more. They even used AI-based big data to analyze online mentions—making the rankings more detailed than ever.

Jin’s solo success has been massive recently. His Netflix original variety show “Jinny’s Kitchen: Summer Edition” hit #1 on Netflix Korea, and it even made it to the global Netflix chart—a rare feat for a Korean variety show that’s not a survival program.

Thanks to this, Jin ranked #1 in non-drama TV-OTT celebrity buzz, showing just how loved he is by fans around the world.

But that’s not all, Jin will release his second solo mini album 'Echo' on May 16 at 1 PM KST, marking his long-awaited return to music. And right after that, he’s heading out on his first-ever solo world tour, kicking off on June 28 in Korea.

The tour includes 18 concerts across 9 cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the US, London in the UK, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

And he’s not just touring—he’s making history. Jin will become the first K-pop solo artist to hold a concert at the O2 Arena in London, one of the world’s most iconic venues.

With his unmatched popularity, record-breaking solo moves, and warm personality, it’s no wonder Jin’s the only BTS member on this year’s Forbes list.

  • Tomorrow X Together (TXT) shock fans by hitting No. 1 in Japan with 'Love Language' while on tour—only K-pop act in top 5

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is once again showing their global power!

On May 4, BigHit Music announced that TXT’s latest digital single “Love Language” had climbed to No. 1 on Line Music Japan’s ‘Top 100 Songs’ daily chart, just a day after its release.

The song debuted at No. 12 on May 2 and jumped 11 spots to grab the top spot on May 3. Over on Oricon’s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’, the song also ranked high at No. 2, making TXT the only international artist to rank in the top 5 on both major Japanese charts.

But TXT’s success isn’t just limited to Japan. “Love Language” also topped iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in nine countries and regions, including Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Portugal. The track also charted high on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart, standing proudly alongside songs by global pop giants.

Love Language is a sweet and emotional track that compares love to learning a new language. TXT members express the desire to understand someone they care about, even when it’s not easy to communicate.

The song is especially meaningful because the group dropped it as a surprise gift for fans during their ongoing world tour, ‘ACT : PROMISE’ – EP. 2.

Fans are going wild over the song’s catchy vibes, sharp group choreography, and one unforgettable moment where the members briefly lift their shirts, showing their abs—a performance detail that’s gone viral across fan communities.

TXT is clearly not slowing down, and Love Language is another major step in their rise as a global K-pop powerhouse.
