• Han Ga In Reveals She Suffered Three Miscarriages - Here's How Netizens Reacted

Actress Han Ga In has opened up about her painful past, revealing that she suffered three miscarriages, leading many netizens to shift from criticism to support.

On February 27, Han Ga In’s YouTube channel, "Free-Spirited Wife Han Ga In," uploaded a new video about her luxury shoe collection. However, instead of talking about fashion, many viewers flooded the comments with messages of support, referencing her recent emotional appearance on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block.

Fans wrote heartfelt messages like, "Unnie, keep doing whatever you want! I’ll always support you," and "Not everyone's life is the same, yet some people act like they know everything. Stay strong!" Others praised her bravery, saying, "I really enjoyed your You Quiz episode. You’re amazing!"

However, some netizens remained critical, commenting, "Why not just live quietly? Your image is ruined," and "If you can’t handle controversy, why start YouTube?"

Han Ga In, who married actor Yeon Jung Hoon in 2005, has two children. However, she was recently labeled an overly obsessed “education mom” after comedian Lee Soo Ji parodied her as a typical ‘Daechi Mom’—a term referring to moms who push their kids into intense private education.

This stereotype gained traction after Han Ga In posted a video of her child learning to ride a bike on YouTube, which she later had to permanently delete due to backlash.

On the February 26 episode of You Quiz on the Block, Han Ga In bravely opened up about her past, sharing, "I was so happy when I first got pregnant after marrying Jung Hoon, but I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. It was painful, but I thought I could try again. Then that winter, I got pregnant again… and lost the baby at the same stage."

She continued, "I had three miscarriages in one year. It completely broke me. My husband and I struggled so much, and I even told him, ‘I don’t think I can have children.’ But he said, ‘Let’s just live happily together, the two of us.’"

Eventually, she underwent IVF, and their first child was born healthy.

Han Ga In also reflected on her approach to parenting, saying, "I only realized what I truly enjoy after turning 40 because I didn’t get to experience much when I was younger. I want my kids to explore different things and find what they love early on."

She also added a humorous but heartfelt comment, saying, "I want to be a free-spirited woman, but I can’t until my kids are independent. Even my husband isn’t independent yet! I hope one day, they will all stand on their own, so I can finally live my own life."

Her raw honesty and struggles resonated with many, changing public opinion about her and giving a deeper understanding of why she has been so devoted to her children.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
