Singer Hong Jin Young is making headlines for her latest TV appearance, where fans noticed her slightly different look!

After previously admitting to multiple plastic surgeries, she returned to the spotlight with a more mature and refined vibe.

On the January 28 episode of SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen, the show featured a special K-Trot Grand Festival episode with guests Jin Sung, Hong Jin Young, Park Ji Hyun, and Yoyomi.

But what caught viewers’ attention the most was Hong Jin Young’s transformed appearance! Known for her cute and sexy charm in the past, she now exudes a more sophisticated aura.

Hong Jin Young has never been shy about discussing her plastic surgery history. On MBC’s Radio Star, she openly revealed that she had undergone two nose surgeries, double eyelid surgery, Botox, and dental laminates.

With her experience in cosmetic procedures, she naturally took on the role of a plastic surgery expert during Dolsing Fourmen!

Lee Sang Min playfully mentioned, “I heard you’re just as good at estimating plastic surgery costs as you are at singing.”

Hong Jin Young laughed and admitted, “Well, I do have some experience. Since I’ve been in the industry for a while, I have a trained eye for this.”

The fun continued as Kim Jun Ho asked her to evaluate possible procedures for Lee Sang Min and Lim Won Hee. Hong Jin Young confidently shared her insights, saying, “If someone has a unique face, it’s best not to touch it. But if anything, I’d suggest lifting treatments.”

She then grabbed Lim Won Hee’s cheek and pointed out, “If you want to look kinder, this area needs to go. These ‘bulldog cheeks’ can be reduced with injections.”

She went on to explain, “You get fat-dissolving injections on both sides, and instead of making big incisions on the forehead, small cuts along the hairline can lift it naturally. Combine that with Botox, and it works wonders.”

As for Lee Sang Min, she suggested, “To achieve a younger look, hair implants would help a lot. A receding hairline makes you look older, so filling it in is a good trick.”

Aside from her surprising knowledge in beauty treatments, Hong Jin Young also shared a fun story about her flirting skills! She confessed that she once had a some (flirty relationship) with a celebrity.

She recalled, “That person asked for my number, saying they were curious about something. Later, they contacted me, and I answered sincerely. They were so grateful that they offered to buy me a meal, so I jokingly asked them to bring me something delicious on the day of my music video shoot.”

She continued, “Before a music video shoot, I go through beauty treatments, so that’s when I look my best. I wanted to show them that side of me.”

She added with a smile, “That person actually brought chicken for me on set. Since I was busy filming, they got to see me as a hardworking woman. After that, we started flirting.” Her story had everyone laughing on set!

Former S.E.S member Shoo (Yoo Soo Young) warmed hearts as she shared a touching moment with her twin daughters—taking them to the same wholesale market where she once worked during a difficult time in her life.

On May 8, Shoo posted several photos on Instagram showing her spending time with her twin daughters, Ra Hee and Ra Yul, at the Dongdaemun wholesale market. In the caption, she wrote, “Did everyone enjoy the holiday? I feel like I made a memory I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.”

The photos showed Shoo and her daughters smiling brightly while eating and shopping together. Her daughters, now visibly grown up, were even seen wearing similar shoes and clothes as their mom.

Shoo opened up about a painful chapter in her past. “When I was struggling, I once sold clothes I got from Dongdaemun with the help of a friend,” she shared. “I used to go there from night to early morning, picking up fleece clothes, hairpins, and shoes, thinking, ‘My kids would love this if I brought them here.’”

Now that her daughters are older, Shoo finally fulfilled that dream. “We laughed so much while shopping. We bought hairpins, socks, and clothes together,” she said. “They’ve grown so much—they can even wear the same things as me.”

Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Memories of my past flashed before my eyes. I told them how I used to work late at night, carrying heavy bags and walking around for 10 hours straight.”

Shoo emotionally concluded, “I was so happy to show my kids the nighttime world I once worked in.”
