
BTS' Jimin is taking over Japanese music charts with his solo track “Who.” The song from his second solo album, MUSE, soared to number one on Spotify Japan’s “Daily Top Songs” chart on August 19, marking his eighth chart-topping hit.
“Who” made waves on July 28 by achieving over 440,000 daily streams, setting a record as the only solo song by a Korean artist to top this chart. It remains the sole K-pop track to claim the number one spot in 2024.
From July 26 to August 1, 2024, “Who” amassed 2.72 million streams and ranked second on Spotify Japan’s “Weekly Top Songs” chart, making it the most-streamed solo song by a Korean artist that week.



In less than a month, “Who” became the most-streamed solo song by a Korean artist on Spotify Japan’s “Daily Top Songs” chart, holding the top position. As of August 21, it has 326,532 streams and continues to perform exceptionally well.
Following its debut at number one on Oricon’s “Daily Album Ranking,” MUSE and its title track “Who” also entered the “Daily Digital Single” chart at number two and the “Weekly Digital Single” chart at number five.
The track debuted at number 21 on the Billboard Japan “Hot 100” and maintained its popularity, reaching number 43 in its fifth week. Additionally, “Who” has topped the Deezer Japan Top 100 chart for 31 days straight.
On Japan’s “Shazam Top 200” chart, “Who” ranked sixth as of August 19. The song has also charted alongside “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band,” “Be Mine,” and “Closer Than This.” “Who” has topped the “HOT SONGS IN JAPAN” list for two weeks, proving its wide appeal across various platforms.
