BTS Jimin’s “Who” Breaks Record as Fastest K-Pop Solo Song to Hit 300 Million Streams on Spotify

BTS Jimin has made history with his solo track "Who," which has now surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, setting a new record for the fastest K-pop solo song to achieve this milestone.

On August 17, "Who" hit 30 million streams in just 30 days and topped Spotify’s 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart with 9.809 million streams.

This quick rise makes "Who" the fastest solo song by a pop artist to reach 300 million streams on Spotify.

In addition to this achievement, "Who" topped Spotify charts in over 50 countries, including hitting 1st place in 14 countries like South Korea and Japan, highlighting its global success.

Since its release on July 19, "Who" has shown impressive growth, debuting with 9.999 million streams and leading the 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart for 20 days—the longest streak for a K-pop solo song. This success underscores Jimin's strong influence as a solo artist.

As of August 19, Jimin ranks 43rd on Spotify’s 'Global Daily Artist' chart, the highest position for a K-pop artist, and has been charting for 281 days.

On the 'Korean Daily Artist' chart, he’s held the number one spot for 390 days (585 days in total, with 744 days on the chart).

He’s also ranked 72nd on the 'US Daily Artist' chart, the only K-pop solo artist to make this list.

Even though "Who" debuted at 3rd on the 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart and has stayed in the Top 5 for over 30 days, it’s not as prominent on Spotify’s influential playlist, 'Today's Top Hits (TTH),' which raises concerns about promotional support.

Despite this, Jimin's "Who" continues to excel in its fourth week, ranking 29th on the Billboard Hot 100 and 6th on the Global 200, solidifying Jimin’s role as a groundbreaking artist in the K-pop industry.
