BTS members V and Jungkook, along with their agency Big Hit Music, are suing the 'Anti-Fandom' YouTube channel for damages.
According to Star News, Big Hit Music, V, and Jungkook filed a lawsuit in March seeking about 90 million won in damages from the channel's operator. The first court hearing for the case will take place on the 23rd, five months after the lawsuit was filed.
Big Hit Music has a history of taking legal action against those who harm their artists. They said, "We regularly pursue legal action against anyone posting malicious content about BTS, including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and false information. We will continue to take strict legal measures and will not settle or show leniency."

In June, Big Hit Music highlighted the 'Anti-Fandom' channel's activities. They noted, "In 2022, we sued the 'Anti-Fandom' channel for defamation and obstructing our business. Although the investigation was paused, we provided the channel’s personal information to restart it. We also filed a civil lawsuit earlier this year for defamation and other illegal activities and are now waiting for the civil trial."
Big Hit Music added, "We have previously referred several suspects to the prosecution and are awaiting the results of the criminal proceedings. We will keep taking strong legal action against anyone involved, no matter how long it takes."
V also responded directly on Weverse to recent videos from the YouTuber. After a fan shared screenshots of the videos, V commented, “Oh? We’ll proceed with legal action. Looks like there might be costs for snacks. They’re involving family and friends too. Goodbye.”
V continued, “I briefly looked at it, and not just us but all artists dislike people like that. We might have monitored it or not, but I will file a lawsuit for those who’ve been hurt and couldn’t speak up.” When a fan told him not to worry about such posts, V replied, “Oh, of course. My mental state is quite strong, like Suga’s.”
