• aespa, NewJeans, ITZY, and More Set to Shine at 'The Fact Music Awards' – First Overseas Event

    The biggest names in K-POP are coming together for the '2024 The Fact Music Awards (TMA).'

    On July 22, the event's organizing committee revealed the lineup, announcing that ITZY, JO1, WOOAH, aespa, NiziU, Kep1er, NewJeans, &TEAM, xikers, KISS OF LIFE, n.SSign, EVNNE, TWS, NCT WISH, UNIS, and NEXZ will all perform.

    Fans can look forward to seeing ITZY, the queen of K-POP performances, and JO1, the popular Japanese boy group. Also taking the stage are WOOAH, aespa, and NiziU, known for their chart-topping hits, as well as Kep1er with their versatile talent.

    NewJeans, known for their international success, will join the lineup alongside &TEAM, a global group from HYBE, xikers with their energetic performances, and KISS OF LIFE, a rising star. Rookie groups n.SSign, with a strong Japanese fan base, and EVNNE will add to the exciting mix.

    The event will also feature TWS, known for their fresh boyhood pop style; NCT WISH, a top global icon; UNIS, a promising rookie group; and NEXZ, a new boy group from JYP Entertainment making their comeback after six years. Expect a dynamic range of performances from these artists, with more acts to be announced soon.

    The '2024 The Fact Music Awards' is a major event celebrating K-POP and its fans. This year marks the first time the awards show will be held overseas, as part of The Fact's 10th anniversary celebration. The event's slogan is ‘NEW GEN FOR FANSTIVAL,’ promising a festival where next-generation artists and fans can enjoy together.

    The awards will be co-hosted by broadcaster Jeon Hyun Moo and singer-actress Seo Hyun, known for their great chemistry. Broadcaster Park Seul Ki will host the red carpet, capturing the vibrant spirit of the event.

    The '2024 The Fact Music Awards,' organized by Fan&Star and FEELINGVIVE, will take place on September 7 and 8 at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.

  • ITZY's Yuna reveals her mom shaped her head like a protractor when she was a baby and fans can't stop laughing

    ITZY's Yuna opened up about her childhood, her school days, and even the surprising secret behind her perfectly shaped head in a fun and heartwarming video.

    On April 30, Yuna appeared in a new video on the YouTube channel "You Nani Bit Ina", where she visited her old middle school. Standing in front of the building, Yuna smiled and said, “This is the middle school I went to when I was younger. Well, it was five years ago, so not that long ago.”

    She shared a fun memory, saying, “I came back once after graduating because I kept in touch with one of the teachers. All the teachers came out to greet me, and the students were so excited!”

    When asked if she was popular back in school, Yuna gave an honest and funny answer. “I don’t think there were any boys’ schools nearby. "

    She added, "And when I was in elementary school, boys liked girls who were quiet, cute, and sweet. But I was loud and outgoing, so I wasn’t their type. Back then, boys didn’t really like girls who were too pretty—they preferred someone more plain and simple.”

    Later in the video, while filming at a local snack shop, Yuna got a surprise visit from her mom. Shocked, Yuna asked, “Why did you come without saying anything?”

    Her mom sweetly revealed that Yuna had always dreamed of being on TV. Yuna added, “I never thought I’d be an idol. I imagined maybe I’d be a show host, an announcer, or even a pretty comedian.”

    When asked when she realized Yuna had grown up, her mom said, “After she debuted, she always asked me for feedback. But eventually, she started making her own choices, and that’s when I knew she had grown up. At first, I was even worried about her hand gestures and facial expressions.”

    Yuna chimed in, “My mom used to tell me I was doing too much when she watched my fancams.” Her mom smiled and said, “Isn’t Yuna the prettiest when she’s natural? I think she’s slowly learning that on her own.”

    Then came the cutest story of the day—Yuna talked about how her head shape became so perfect. “When I was a baby, my mom would lay me down at different angles to make my head round—like using a protractor.”

    Yuna laughed. Her mom looked a bit embarrassed but admitted, “I tried that with my first child too, but I started too late—around two months after birth. With Yuna, I started right away.”

    Yuna then proudly pointed to her head and said, “Mom’s touch!” making everyone laugh.

    Fans were touched by Yuna’s honest and playful personality, and many praised the sweet bond between her and her mom.
