BTS's Jungkook has made history as the fastest Asian artist to reach 1.7 billion streams on Spotify with his solo track 'Seven.'
Released in July last year, 'Seven' recently crossed 1.7 billion streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, in just 347 days.
Jungkook's 'Seven' not only set a new record for the fastest song by an Asian artist to achieve this milestone but also became the first solo K-pop song to reach 1.7 billion streams on Spotify.
Globally, it ranks as the third fastest song ever to reach this mark and holds the record for the fastest song released in 2023 and among debut songs.
Previously, 'Seven' broke records on Spotify as the fastest song to reach 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams.
In Spotify's year-end chart for 'Top Tracks of 2023,' 'Seven' also ranked as the 4th highest streaming song globally, based on approximately four months of tracking.
