• SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi shares funny explanation for contract renewal with HYBE

SEVENTEEN's Hoshi is gaining attention for an amusing and relatable reason why he decided to renew his contract with HYBE Labels. On the YouTube show 'Salon Drip', hosted by Jang Do Yeon, Hoshi shared the story of how the meal costs for SEVENTEEN increased with each comeback since their debut

Expressing his gratitude for being a part of HYBE, Hoshi mentioned the advantages of the company, such as the impressive tall building, comfortable temperature regardless of the weather, and convenient face recognition entry.

He compared this to their early days when they would suffer in extreme heat or freezing in the cold.

Additionally, Hoshi mentioned the cramped space they had to endure. Jang Do Yeon then asked Hoshi about the best thing about being in HYBE, to which he answered that there are many great things about the company but the essentials stand out.

Hoshi shared an incident when he ordered ramyeon at the company cafeteria, expecting a regular dish but received abalone and octopus topped ramyeon instead [YouTube].

This unexpected upgrade convinced him that he had to renew his contract with HYBE. However, Hoshi did mention one complaint he has about HYBE.

He explained that the single elevator reserved for artists often took a long time to arrive. He described the entrance for artists, which is located on the 3rd ground-level floor of the parking lot, and how the elevator only goes up to the floors accessible to artists.

One time, he wanted to use the elevator to go to the ground level parking lot but it coincided with the NewJeans members getting on, so he had to let them go ahead. In conclusion, Hoshi expressed his wish for HYBE to consider having two elevators for the artists

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.
