Park Ji Hoon has added another major acting award to his growing list of achievements after officially winning Best New Actor at the 46th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards for his performance in The King's Warden.

The awards ceremony was held on November 4 at Cinematheque KOFA in Seoul, where Park Ji Hoon was announced as the winner of the prestigious Best New Actor award.

Organized by the Korean Association of Film Critics, the annual ceremony has recognized outstanding Korean films and filmmakers since 1980. Winners are selected through preliminary and final evaluations of eligible films.

Park Ji Hoon received the once-in-a-career honor for his performance in director Jang Hang Jun's The King's Warden, which premiered in February 2026.

The film became a major box office success, surpassing 10 million moviegoers in South Korea and earning Park Ji Hoon recognition as a successful box office actor.

Although he was unable to attend the ceremony due to a previously scheduled overseas commitment, his latest win marks another important achievement in his acting career.

Park Ji Hoon has already enjoyed an impressive awards season.

He previously won Best New Actor in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards and received a Ministerial Commendation at the 17th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards.

His winning streak could continue, as he has also been nominated for Best New Actor at the upcoming 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards, scheduled for November 25.

With another major acting trophy secured and a Blue Dragon nomination still ahead, Park Ji Hoon continues to gain recognition for his performance in The King's Warden.

Attention is now turning to whether the actor can add another Best New Actor award to his growing collection later this month.
