While praising the entire cast, Kim Hee Ae gave special attention to actor Im Jin Hyo, who plays Se Jin.
She shared, "Im Jin Hyo, who plays Se Jin, is especially impressive. He brings the character to life so naturally that I sometimes wonder if he's like this in real life. It's amazing to see such charming acting, and I'm even more excited to see what he'll show us in the future."
Kim Hee Ae also praised the drama's writing, direction, and overall performances, mentioning director Ahn Pan Seok, whom she previously worked with on Secret Love Affair.
She added, "While watching the drama, I find myself wondering whether it's the strength of the script, director Ahn Pan Seok's magic, or the actors' solid acting skills. Everything comes together so perfectly and makes the drama shine even more. I can't wait to see what happens next! It's really the best."
Between Steps follows Park Min Jae, played by Choo Young Woo, a doctoral student and former swimmer who lost one of his legs due to illness, and Im Yoo Jin, played by Kim So Hyun, a master's student searching for a new direction in life.
