Kim Ji Won turned a simple filming moment into a lighthearted highlight after the You Quiz on the Block production staff were caught smiling warmly while watching her.
Ahead of her appearance on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, the show released a preview featuring Kim Ji Won during her first solo variety show appearance.
Despite her calm image on screen, Kim Ji Won admitted that she was extremely nervous before filming.
She shared, “I was so nervous that when I tried to sleep yesterday, I suddenly got back up. I was biting my nails and shaking my legs.”
The mood quickly became more playful when Yoo Jae Suk asked Kim Ji Won to recreate one of her memorable lines from the drama Fight for My Way.
Kim Ji Won confidently delivered the famous line, “I wasn’t pretending to be pretty. I was just born pretty.”
Her unexpected display of aegyo drew smiles around the studio, but Yoo Jae Suk noticed an especially funny detail. He spotted the lighting director and camera director watching Kim Ji Won with noticeably warm and satisfied expressions.
Yoo Jae Suk then copied their expressions, turning the staff members’ reactions into another funny moment during filming.
Kim Ji Won also recalled a previous encounter with Yoo Jae Suk and joked that she wanted to add another story to his long list of good deeds.
She remembered Yoo Jae Suk once helping her avoid a penalty by tearing open gift wrapping with his teeth. Yoo Jae Suk laughed and replied, “I’m surprised that became a good story about me.”
The preview showed a more relaxed and playful side of Kim Ji Won, with her recreation of the Fight for My Way scene and the production staff’s reactions becoming one of the standout moments before the full episode airs.
