Kim Hye Yoon and Hwang Minhyun could potentially become the next on-screen pairing in the upcoming romance drama Lee Seop’s Love, although neither casting has been confirmed.
On October 1, Kim Hye Yoon’s agency Artist Company addressed reports about her possible appearance in the series.
The agency stated, “Lee Seop’s Love is one of the projects she has received an offer for and is currently reviewing.”
Based on the web novel of the same name by Kim Eon Hee, Lee Seop’s Love follows Tae Lee Seop, a third-generation chaebol who appears perfect in most areas but struggles with romance, and Kang Min Kyung, his highly capable colleague who frequently outperforms him at work.
Hwang Minhyun was recently mentioned as a possible candidate for the male lead, Tae Lee Seop. However, the production company has also emphasized that his casting has not yet been finalized.
The drama is currently reorganizing its cast after Lee Jong Suk, who had previously been preparing to play the male lead, ultimately decided not to join the project.
The production company explained that changes to the production and filming schedule made it difficult to coordinate with his upcoming commitments.
Choi Yoon Ji, who had been considering the female lead role, also decided not to participate.
With Kim Hye Yoon and Hwang Minhyun now both being discussed as potential leads, attention is growing over whether the two internationally popular stars will ultimately be paired together in Lee Seop’s Love.
For now, both actors remain in the consideration stage, and the final casting has yet to be announced.
