CORTIS is showing impressive staying power on Melon, with REDRED remaining inside the platform’s monthly Top 3 for five consecutive months.

According to Melon’s September monthly chart released on October 1, REDRED, the title track from CORTIS’ second mini album, ranked No. 3.

The song first entered the monthly chart at No. 3 in May, climbed to No. 2 in June, and then held the No. 3 position in July, August, and September.

The five-month run gives CORTIS a rare achievement among K-pop boy groups. According to the report, REDRED is the first song by a K-pop boy group in roughly the past decade to remain in Melon’s monthly Top 3 for at least five months since BTS’ Dynamite, which recorded a similar long-running performance across 2020 and 2021.

The song has also continued to appear on Billboard’s global rankings.

On the Billboard charts dated October 3, REDRED ranked No. 198 on the Global 200 and No. 100 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, extending its run to 22 consecutive weeks.

REDRED gained attention for lyrics built around the idea of labeling things the members want to avoid as “RED” and the things they aim for as “GREEN.” The five members have also highlighted their creative involvement in the group’s music, choreography, and visuals.

Following the song’s long chart run, CORTIS is set to perform at Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 on October 9. The group is expected to appear on the main stage at the Marina Bay Street Circuit as the event’s only K-pop act this year.

With REDRED staying near the top of Melon for five straight months, CORTIS has now added one of the year’s longest-running boy group chart performances to its growing list of achievements.
